Since last week 6 Teapot Valley Road in Brightwater has sold and we have two new listings for you, both in Richmond, which seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment.
Last month there were 50% more residential properties sold in Richmond and 400% more sections sales than the historic monthly average. Time will tell whether this is a trend or a one-off, but certainly we are seeing more buyer enquiry for homes there.
The first of our listings in Richmond is on a whopping 2/3 of an acre and it offers remarkable privacy from the street – when you sweep up the driveway you pass mature bush and well-established shrubs on the first half of the section. 4 Dartmoor Place has come to us after being on the market before with another company, and if you’ve previously been aware of this spacious home, take a fresh look. The vendors have dropped their price expectations to an ultra-reasonable level. They feel the RV at $680,000 is too high, and they will most definitely take less than that. They are relocating further south, and while it has served as an excellent family home for the last five years, it is now surplus to their requirements. There’s an open home here too on Sunday.
