This year started with a “hiss and a roar”, as they say, and it hasn’t let up since January.Since last week we have sold 87 Point Road, Monaco and 12 Aratia Way, Richmond.We have significant reductions on 49 Manuka Street, Nelson and 4 Dartmoor Place, Richmond, and it wouldn’t surprise me if those price drops were enough to tip the balance to a sale on each.

It’s a bit tough sitting in the office writing this when its such a terrific day outside – it’s a typical Nelson autumn day with a crisp, clear blue sky, no wind and a full tide. Tempting to close up for the day and go to the beach, but that wouldn’t get all these gorgeous homes out to you today, would it now?

As I write this I’m struggling to stay warm sitting in a cafe in Palmerston North, and am reminded once again how lucky we are in Nelson.I lived here for 26 years before finally seeing the light and moving to Nelson in 2003, and I must say, I frequently wonder why it took me so long to move.
